Browning Cookbook...

The Browning cookbooks have arrived!  The cookbook committee will have books available for sale during several upcoming practice/game fields, covering all of our age groups within the next few weeks.  The books also make a great Mother's Day gift or as an early Christmas present.

As a reminder of our project, recipes have been collected from the Cockeysville Community and compiled for a cookbook in memory of the Browning Family. Proceeds from the books will be used to purchase AED's (automated external defibrillators) for our athletic fields. These fields are also used by multiple sports.

Below are details about the cookbooks.

  • Approximately 400 recipes submitted by members of the community

  • Hard-back, 3-ring binder w/book stand

  • $20/book or $35/2 books (tax included)

  • Make checks payable to Cockeysville Recreation Council

Available dates to purchase the cookbooks:

  • May 10th @ Dulaney Springs fields from 10:00 until 11:30 (CLINIC GAMES)
  • May 17th @ Padonia Elementary fields from 2:00 until 3:00 (TYKER GAMES)
  • May 17th @ Mays Chapel fields from 10:00  - 11:30 (POCKETS GAMES)
  • May 21st @ Padonia Elementary fields from 6:30 PM until 7:00 (LIGHTNING GAMES)
  • June 14th @ County Home Park 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (During Lax Fest as part of the Cockeysville Invitational)
Midget teams: Members of the cookbook committee are parents of players on each of our Midget teams and will bring the books to your practices & games.

Junior teams: Look for an email in the next few days regarding sale dates & locations during your scheduled practice/games.

For additional information, contact Barb Jones (410) 365-9965, or send us an and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Thanks for your support,

Cookbook Committee

Updating your Personal Account...

As we move on to our second season with our website we just wanted to send out a quick reminder on how to keep your personal account updated.

From the home page, select the Edit My Account menu on the left side of the home screen.

Here are just a few of the items which you can update:

  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Home address
  • Text message feature (turn on or off)
  • Etc...
The process takes just a few minutes to complete. This is something you can do at anytime, as long as you have internet access.  Please attempt to complete this yourself, before contacting our volunteer staff.

We are sending this email on behalf of our volunteer staff. Our internet/database volunteer spends enough time with general program news and updates during the indoor & spring seasons.

Thanks for your understanding,

Andy, Steve & Tom
